Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966, was the daughter of a wealthy family. The youngest of three siblings. She was raised in an abbey, and there she gained a passion for the arts. After a couple of years her return to the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin. In the end, in the absence of determination, she decided that she required to rest, and decided to give it ten months. In a cafe with her fellow students in a coffee shop, a photographer approached and inquired if she would like to act as a model. Because she thought she could earn some extra cash from the business, she decided to accept. Within a short time, she was employed professional as a model. She had the opportunity to go around the world for commercial ventures after completing modeling agreements. The casting director saw her modeling skills and encouraged her to attempt acting. She was sent to London at the age of 19 which was where she won an audition to play in the upcoming James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). She so loved acting that she considered pursuing a career this direction. In the wake of her first feature, she shot a few TV shows in London and in Dublin However, her major success came when her name was cast as Aryan seductress the Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
